Player Features
- Improved timer
DVD only contains 2 timecode information per second (most
of the time), with this new timer method DVDSubber fill the gap and recreate
the missing timecode information using it's internal timer.
- Improved aspect ratio control functions.
- Added a function that automatically hide the mouse cursor after some
time.
- Customizable Seek speed. In the configuration
screen choose the seek speed you want DVDSubber to use when you press
on the fastforward and fastbackward keys.
- A new and more hierarchiesed configuration
screen
- Preliminary multi-language support.
For now it's only English or French and only some small parts of the
player are translated but in some time all DVDSubber will support multi-language.
- .NET like menus.
- In file mode,Playlist position are consider as title. This way
if you want to create a profile for a playlist you can create one where
title 1 will be for the first file in the playlist, title 2 for the
second,etc...
- A new option in the aspect ratio functions : No
scaling mode.
In this mode DVDSubber will try prevent the video from being automatically
rescaled, as scaling lower the quality. DVDSubber will force the video
to the "original" size given by the filters, in case it's
not correct it can be overridden manually by adding the following keys
in the DVDSubber.ini file.

Height=yyyy
Where xxxx and yyyy are the size you want to force the No
scaling mode to use.
- Added a "Force subtitles to appear
on video" checkbox. When it's check the subtitles will always
appear on the video no matter what aspect ratio the DVD or you screen
is.
There is another check box that force this option only in window mode.
- Optimization of the font creation routines.
Keep in memory the most used fonts and don't recreate them everytime.
- Added a function key to force the video
window on top of everything else (except in full screen) by default
the key is set to CTRL+T

Profile Editor Features
- Whole new GUI for the profile editor.
- Most of the profile editor functions
are now accessible from a menu and with
shortcut key.
- Support of the NAME field in the
SSA and JACOSub timed scripts.
- Two different mode to display the events,
one multiline like before and one monoline.
- Copy, Cut
and Paste events from and to the subtitles
events editor.
- Added an option the change color of the WYSIWYG event editor
window.
- Improved SSA override decoding
routines, now override code are more correctly interpreted.
- History in the profile
editor : the profile editor keep an history of the four last
profile you load.
- A whole new events list and events editing windows.
- New subtitle preview windows.
- Timeramp limit increased to 10000
(100 seconds)
- New and more easy way to enter edit or sync mode, just click
on the Mode button (Right most side next to the Close button) and it
will display a list of the available mode and usable select.
- Added a key reload the last opened profile.
- Readded the profile readme feature. (Was removed in previous
beta)
- All the modification done during the edit of an event will immediately
appear on the events list, you no longer need to refresh the list before.

BUG REMOVED
(The biggest ones, there are a lot of other smaller that were removed too)
- Corrected the bug that make you unable to read a script if it
has been deleted from the profile before.
- Remove the bug that cause the audio renderer windows to be empty.
- Corrected a bug in the SSA reading routine that removed leading
spaces in events text.
- Corrected a bug that display a coma "," when an event
text was empty.
- Remove a bug in the subtitles rendering routines, that make
the subtitles to be rendered using the default style margin instead
of the event style margin.
- Remove a bug where some SAMI script could hang DVDSubber if
the subtitle text contained the word CLASS, < or >.
- Added a "Intelligent" add and remove timed script,
DVDSubber no longer decide by itself to remove a timed script from a
profile. If you want to remove a timed script just delete it from the
scripts list.
- Remove a big bug in the routine that prevent DVDSubber from
rendering twice the same subtitles, should now improve performance.
- Corrected the bug in the "Reset timer on chapter change"
routines, now it should work a lot better.
